    Hey,

Any suggestions for a good practice pad kit? Anyone has the "DW go anywhere practice set" and if its a good buy?

The Remo ones are good and not too expensive. I have a home made practice rig that I assembled with an old cymbal stand and some clamps. It doesn't get much use because my drums are sitting right there and I can play them pretty well any time.

    all the best...

I think I'd rather have an electronic drum kit. It's basically pads anyway but sounds like drums and has a volume control.

True, but at about 10 times the price for decent entry level one. Practice pads can be played any where literally, even where there is no power.

I just searched out the dW she speaks of. You really couldn't go wrong for the price I think.

I have the dw practice pad kit. It's fine for what it is. Not very adjustable, but again, it is only for practice. I strictly use it for coordination practice. It too good good for anything else really. It is better than using books and pillows or just your hands and feet. The kit is also decent for working on foot speed if that's your thing
