Post your favorite. Here's one from pro drummer, Tom Grignon. He carved this up the other day and we asked if we could share it here. Thanks Tom!

I'll have some pics on Sunday. We play Saturday night and the whole band is dressing up. I'm wearing a black suit, hat & glasses and going as Elwood from the Blues Brothers. I also carved up an old bass reso head like a Jack-o-lantern and plan on putting some lights in the drum. We'll see how it works out.

    Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!

That's actually an awesome idea. Take some pics if you can! I'll have to remember that. It would fit right in when we play Folsom a Prison Blues or Mamma Tried, LOL. Everyone could wear orange (or white w/black stripes) jump suits with numbers painted on them. Very simple. I don't think I could find one big enough to fit my brother, however. Id have to make one for him out of the old car cover for my Mustang, LOL.

I ended up "MC'ing" the Costume contest at our gig....and didn't get a chance to take any pics. We've put a post out on Facebook asking for any photo's ...we'll see what we get. Full-disclosure, I wore the same costume as I did last year.

On another note....our haze machine set of the fire alarms in the venue and the Fire Dept came. ( We tried to get them to join the costume contest. )

That's twice the fire dept has come to a Halloween gig with this band in the last few years. Last time they came because they were enforcing seating capacities. (kind of a crappy thing to do on one of the busiest nights of the year for venues. - gotta love Scottsdale Gubberment Officials)
