Thumbs up Zildjian Artist series Tré Cool signature stick review

    Specifications:
    LENGTH: 16.5
    DIAMETER: 0.625
    WOOD TYPE: HICKORY
    TIP SHAPE: ACORN
    TIP TYPE: WOOD

    Review:
So my friend bought me a pair of these for me and i have been using these sticks for a few weeks now and they are really big and long, which i thought i wouldn't like, but it turns out i was wrong. They fit in my hands really nicely and are nice and light for their size. These sticks are great for rock drumming, and punk (like tré cool), but i have used them for a range of styles and they are great.

    Pros:
    Lightweight for the size
    Nice and snug in hands
    will last long
Acorn tip provides good definition on toms and cymbals
    Cons:
    None so far!

Overall, these are a great pair of sticks, i will be using these mostly for my band (which mostly plays punk and hard stuff) and maybe other things.

Glad to hear you found a stick you like.

I used to use Hickory but I've switched to Oak myself.
For my beatings Oak last a hair longer for me.

When I go to work tomorrow I'll take a look at a set and play them once.

Those sound interesting. Are they available in nylon tips?

By the way, do they include some Tre-spit? (see pic)
