    Default 18" AAX-plosion crash

Picked up a used one in good, clean condition & a double braced boom stand for $125.

That makes a nice set with the 15 & 16 AAX-plosions I have. I'm doin the happy dance!

    That makes my Sabian set-up:
    14 AA Rock Hats
    12 AA Splash
    15 AAX-plosion crash
    16 AAX-plosion crash
    18 AAX-plosion crash
    20 HHX Evolution ride

Congrats man! I love my 15" explosion crash. Thinking of a larger diameter to go with my 16" AA Med thin. Can't decide between another AA or the AAX explosion.

Good job! That really completes your collection. How similar are the 15" & 16"?

    Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!

They're close but it works. I got the 15 as a freebie. A few years back Sabian had a buy-one-get-one, featuring the 15.

I have both the regular and fast crash AAXplosion crashes in 18" and prefer the fast crash over the other.
Now the 15" & 16" ones sounded great but not so good as fast crashes. I'm looking to add a 16" crash and looking at the AAX Stage crash.
Good deal on it. I paid $130 for mine without a stand.

I have just recently bought a 16 and 18 Xplosion crash set and I like them. They are bright and loud. Great for the music I play - power pop 90's punk (think american pie soundtrack)

I also have the AAX ozone 12" splash. I like the AAX line

Hey late, does the AAX dark sound similar to the dark K's?

Yes, but with a bit more brighter decay and tone. Great cymbal in my opinion.
