How many of you all sit at your desk or walk all day at work and drum on your desk or anything else? Also do you have a pair of sticks at work to use?

    Keep drumming

I have a standard cadence that I play at my desk every morning while I am waiting for my computer to boot up. Mostly tapping on my desk with my hands, but I fit the necessary keystrokes into the beat.

I also keep a pair of these in my pencil cup :

I only tap along with fingers and feet.

Sometimes I get out of hand and they can hear my feet taping but they know I'm a drummer and the just laugh at me. I never know I'm doing it. Just force of habit.

I drive a car most of the day at work. However in a Police car there's many things that privileged some cool sounds when you tap them.

That's me! I usually have my Ipod earbuds in and can't hear how loud I'm getting. My next cube neighbor will tell me "you must really have liked that last song. You got louder and louder with your feet and fingers" hehehe

    Take care!

Every single day. A big habbit I've developed is doing a heel toe thing and it gets loud.

I have a pair of sticks at work (actually a gift from a customer, from a blues festival he went to) and on a slow night I'll get some practice in, tapping on a mouse pad on the desk.

I also have a pair in the car, I try and work on my left hand, keeping time on the steering wheel when I'm on a long trip on the highway, if there is minimal traffic.

I tap more with my hands then anything. I'm too busy when I'm working to pick up sticks. It would just distract me. With several clients, I'm deadline driven and have to stay focused. But I practice just about every night when I'm home and on the weekends when I'm not traveling.

If I'm walking around my thighs are my drums, you name the setting I will make drum a beat somehow. Feet and hands moving knoçking and thumping on anything. I was in Target picking up medicine and I'm drumming on the counter, the pharmacist said "you must play the drums"! People stare and look I don't care I consider it a gift!
