You're not too loud, the guitarist just needs more amplifiers.

Drummers can be very tempomental.....
Awesome. I'm borrowing this for our lead guitarist who is always telling me I'm too loud.
We sneak and turn George down when he's not looking :P
They should make an amplifier remote control and hand it to the drummer.
That way, the drummer could just turn down the guitar amps.
I prefer it a bit quiet on stage, about 70 dB. Let the PA system put the big sound out to the audience.
