I spent some time recently playing with my Pearl Masters to see about all the different configurations that can be made up with what I had.

I usually play a 2 up 2 down and 2 toms over the floor toms, but I have used as many as 9 toms.

That is a stunning kit Bish. Looks good no matter how it's set up. I do like the 1 up 1 down config. Just looks like it's super comfortable to play

How much time did you spend doing this?!

Poor Cailyn if I even mention I want to rearrange my kit she hides away cause she knows I'll ask for help when I get frustrated lol

Looking good. I like the kit on stands with 2 up 1 down.

Off topic: Use a tripod and ditch the flash. In my opinion, drum kits have so much chrome hardware or glittery wraps that a flash from a camera kills the brilliance and beauty of it. The key is using a tripod so the pictures won't look blurry due to hand movement...

    Example:

    Flashed:

    No flash:

    keep 'em coming.

Yeah, I'd need to put two kits together to achieve that monster beast. I'm also a bit short on Scotch.

I think this was over a period of time. I just happened upon all the pictures in one of my folders and thought I'd just post it up.

I don't use a camera. These were all taken over a year ago with my phone before I knew how to use it properly. Now the camera is some how on "auto" and no flash has been needed. Not even sure how I got the phone/camera to work that way.

Since we're commenting on looks alone, here, I have to cast my vote for the one-up, two-down with stands version. There's just something about that combo that looks so classic, functional, and professional. That's a beautiful kit, too, in case I've never told you.

Didn't mean to hit a nerve. I've been a photographer/videographer for over 35+ years. Just wanted to help you improve your presentation. You have a ton of kits to show off.

No worries. My nerves are very deep and untouchable. I appreciate your input on all things big and small.

I'm a photographer, too. Not much on video, except for personal stuff. It's an entirely different workflow.
