Did not do the talent show.

My gas was shut off(for a reason that i won't go into). I had to wait for the gas company to come out and turn on the gas. However i did call the director of the talent show and informed her what was going on and she was very understanding. So this year i didn't get to play in the talent show
In the mean time i will keep practicing and maybe next year i can do the talent show. As for the rest of this year my plans are drum video's and if i can save the money i want to go to a recording studio and do a cover song. I can use that for next years talent show. Oh and i also plan to get out and find a band that is looking for a drummer and maybe get alittle extra money.

Sounds like one of those "Battle of the Bands" things. They suck if you ask me. Pay to play money makers for people that really could care less about anything else. Good plan stick with it

I'm with you on this one... I understand it got shut off but you couldn't schedule it to get turned back on after the talent show?

Must be a lot more to the story we aren't hearing and this sound like a secret reason of not playing it. But that's none of my business

^^^^ When I first read this I thought you were referring to 'THE GAS' - i.e. Gear Acquisition Syndrome and that perhaps your better half may have shutoff the approval.
