    Thank you all!

Yeah but putting her back together and starting to play regularly on her put me on a mission! I'm on the hunt for the rare piccolo snare drum Yamaha made and offered for this kit. I found one in Phoenix but it's got a laquer finish and it's the lighter color. But just like my PDP kit I won't give up even if it takes a year! lol

I'll keep an eye out for you, I'm always looking for 'extra' MC's in this finish.

do you ever just spin the throne and wherever it stops is where you play and not move?

alternatively, you could get a rotating floor, and have the drums move around you!

Finally, sweet logo on the kicks, does anyone ever think it's a corporate sponsor?

HAHAHA I have always wanted a 3rd kick on the far left that would be awesome. Then I could spin around! I do often spin to the left and play the left bass drum with my right foot.

I wish it was corporate sponsored lol save me a fortune! Especially since now I really want to redo the rack with a matching Yamaha rack... but I'm holding myself back lol

Anyone remember the band 311? I would say this snare sounds just like his but tighter! Because it's smaller. But same concept and tones. Super snappy.

    Yes I'm quite out there!
I was out of town and saw a music store and had to make the stop.
I about fell over in my tracks when I saw a left footed Yamaha flying dragon double pedal hanging on the way.

Just the other day on craigslist in Seattle I saw a Yamaha maple absolute 20x20 bass drum for sale and I tried everything to convince him to ship it but he wouldn't.

So when I saw this pedal I knew it was a sign that I will be finding another bass drum. So I bought it.

    Guess what I found!!!

I found a Yamaha Maple Absolute bass drum in the vintage natural finish in California and the guy is willing to ship it to me!

I was hoping for a smaller 18" or 20" but beggers can't be choosers and it's another 22". But none the less will hold me over and be a huge addition to this already ridiculous kit.

Being a brand new drummer and looking at your kit is like being a 15 year old and being approached by 3 willing ladies. I would want to "play" but wouldn't have the first idea where to start lol!

    hahaha perfect analogy.

Luckily with this kit anywhere you swing you're guaranteed to score!

But it can be a bit of an overkill and that's why I own other kits from simple to moderately large to ridiculous.
