I love the instrument
Love being in a band
The positive feedback after a gig from the audience and my bandmates
For me always looking for that sound
The social part is good none of my immediate friends play a instrument
One of the greatest joys is teaching and learning from others
I love to close the door in my drum room, turn up the tunes and beat my
brains out with nobody watching.
“I did not trip and fall. I attacked the floor and I believe I am winning.”
That feeling that you get when you achieve something amazing, that's how I feel when I play drums, My father started me on drums when I was a boy & drumming is how I honor his memory.
For me it's going out there and playing that beat . Laying down that groove . That pocket , that swing . And when I'm true to it...everything else falls into place . The crack of the snare and the chic of the hi hats . When I hit the kick drum I feel it come up my leg , that's where it all starts . It's what makes the people dance and the band groove . And I like that I'm making it all that happen .
Yea...playing that beat .
Rudy .
All of the above. Plus a few more.
So whats so wrong with laughing. Some need to learn to laugh
