    I have the spd-s. I don't really use it for that, but that's awesome maybe I should.

    Most of the time I use it for backing tracks when playing live but this is much more fun.

    Yeah, I use mine for samples and bass drops mostly. I think I might have expand its use. I can't always play my kit. Would be a good practice tool.

    I got my dad one as he used to play and he loves it, got him a double kick too and now he spends many hours a week tapping away!

    I use mine for a lot of sample triggering - great live. Use it less for the "mini drum kit" aspect. That said, if bulk and cost are issues, I have also used a TM2 plus couple bar triggers for gigs and that is great. Small - only issue is preference for mounting; some like a stand, or have attachments that allow them to use existing set up.

    I have mine mounted on my rack. On a pearl adjustable clamp.
