    Default Another resonant head question

I bought a set of PDP's off a guy. Im pretty sure they are the entry level EZ series. Anyhow I put the EC2 heads on and they sound good but I think they can be better. It has the stock resonant heads on them. The question is should I change them ? If so what should I go with ? Thanks for any help.

I imagine it depends on what Kind of sound you like.
I would say, if you don't like them change them. but Keep them in case whatever you decide on sounds worse.

I like what I get with Aquarian Classic Clears (A medium weight Single Ply) on the resonant side. I Just put EC2s on the batters, on a maple fusion kit (10,12, and 14 inch heads). Quite thick sounding tuned really low.

G1's are great to pair with the EC2. A lot more projection and more low end cuz usually the heads supplied on lower end drums tend to be on the thinner side.

These are what I use in the top/batter side -

I've been considering getting different bottom heads but I can't decide what to go with. At the moment i've been using the stock pacific single ply heads but they are something else to tune.
