Can't say with that little information, but I wouldn't bother with it. You could buy 2 of those, new, from MF or GC and still have a little change left for some other stuff.
all the best...
There is a little music store near me who has a Zildjan K Light Ride in the window for $750. Not a typo. $750.
I asked the girl at the counter and she had no idea why.
Does anyone know of a reason, some rare vintage cymbal or something?

Does the stamp say "Istanbul" ?
Gretsch USA & Zildjian(What Else Would I Ever Need ?)
I couldn't get that close to it. It's in the window display. I'm not in the market--I just bought a great ride--but I was walking by and spotted it.

smoking crack
I don't care if it was hand forged by Oompah-Loompahs on the 5th moon of jupiter---no cymbal is worth $750 to me!
Overpriced cymbal
Zildjian K Light Rides are 24". New, they run around $500. I've seen some try to sell for $700. You can probably find one for under $400 searching.
I've seen they now have 22" versions also. They have the 24" Zildjian K Constantinople Light Rides that price approx. $40.00 more.

I bought a Custom K flat top ride used for $100 a few years ago. Great small venue cymbal.
I think I'll call the shop and ask to speak with the owner. I don't need, or want, this cymbal, but I just want to find out how he has the stones to list it at rip-off prices.

Some of these small shops have things that are very overpriced. The local MusicGoRound was trying to sell used Wuhan 14" chinas for $50 each! Obviously not as big of a difference, but you get the idea.
My guess is, whoever bought the cymbal in either didn't know what they were doing, or just wanted to see if they could rip someone off.
I called the shop owner. He says it lists for $1500. The one minute search I did on the internet says the list is $730 and no one is selling it for more than $450. Good luck, buddy.

Mot be gold plated or something for that price.
Maybe it was John Bonhams, and signed by him or something....
It's a great conversation starter. Great marketing tool for the seller.
It even got us talking about it and I've never seen it or been to the store.
The guy's a genius.
Signature here
I highly doubt it was one of Bonham's cymbals considering he played Paiste Big Beats....
Ya, sure it could be autographed with John Bonham's name. But not by him. Probably some guy with a sharpie and an over active imagination looking to make a buck.
