I never got into them that much. Well, I went through phases, especially when trying to teach kids. They always get the long strokes mixed up with the press rolls.
Anybody else experience this great "in the zone" feeling you get from doing a perfect buzz roll? I like to switch over from my FF Pearl and do them on a cheapo, PDP, metal 13". They still sound great...I could do them for hours but it would drive my band crazy! I mean, they have to spend uninterrupted time tuning and tuning and tuning and....
