Straight 4s on bass - snare on 2 and snare/crash on 4+
Yes, the verse has bass on 1 and 3, but it switches to 4s in the chorus.
Hear me now and believe me later.
And, as I'm sure you all know, the 4+ snare with crash is a timeworn classic (that's why they are using it. All their licks are timeworn classics).
