Can anyone tell me why I can't download videos from you tube, not even my own videos. I just keep getting the black box.

It's a conspiracy against you, probably tied to the upcoming election. Maybe you should delete some emails.

BTW...I got your VM and sorry I haven't called back. We just got back from vacation so I've been out of pocket, a lot lately. I've been hiking, fishing, horse back riding, and scotch drinking in the Rocky Mountains.

Do you mean download to your computer or upload to this (or any other websites)?

Are you clicking on the YouTube icon that you see on top and to the right of the text box, then inserting your URL in between the parenthesis? Should work.

    Have you tried using [ Y T ] your youtube link here [ / Y T ]? (without all the spaces)?

How about just copying and pasting the link?

The answer is yes to both questions about the you tube icon.

I say this with absolutely no sarcasm intended, but how do you think I've been putting up all my videos, and, on some occasions, putting videos up in the "What music are you listening to" topic for years.

Understood. I was confused by your comment. Well, just sounds to me like you're f*cked. It's friday (not that it matters to you since you're retired), time to grab a scotch and start the weekend.

    No offense taken at all.

Can you copy and paste the link here?

Tried it again and it worked.

I had to try Laura Branigan, the best female singer of the last 45 years. Her and Buddy Rich were the only 2 that I would go out of my way to see.

I'm a fan of Ann Wilson and Cher, both really good singers. I don't use the word "great" anymore because it gets thrown around so much that it has no meaning anymore.

I stand by what I said. If you saw her live, you would know what I mean, if not, you won't.
