    Well i'm not sure where to announce myself or even if I should but here we go. I'm Nate i'm from Austin, Tx and I play a birch pacific FS series with only sabian cymbals. I play for my church and i'm currently in between bands just trying to find the right one to play with downtown.

    do you go to the drag races there? I go on hotrodgossip2.com and keep up with the racing there.

    No i've never actually been to any drag racing events, although I have seen a few aggressive acceleration on public streets

    I am a minimalist in drums...my set-up is like this

    16x18 floor converted to play as a bass drum

    8x10 tom tom up

    14x14 floor tom

    8x14 maple snare

    1 ride cymbal

    1 crash cymbal

    1 hi hat cymbals

    drums: early 80's square badge natural maple Gretsch

    cymbals: (various combinations) Zildjian, Paiste, UFIP

    misc. percussion: LP cowbell, plastic block, tambourine, mini-maracas

    hardware: Gretsch and various

    I really hope to soon have some pics to share. It's in the works.
