Default Sidekickdrums.com? Anyone ever heard of them?

Has anyone ever heard of or had experience with sidekickdrums.com?

They offer keller maple shells and do a burnt orange color they call it and say it's very close to my aged vintage maple Yamaha kick.

I'm thinking about buying their 18" kick in a 14" depth. They said they can do the shell and the hoops in the burnt orange and would be a close match to my Yamaha.

But I've never heard of them and it's around $360 bucks so just curious to any ones input.

Never heard of them but that doesn't sound TOO bad for a kick drum.
    Too Much Stuff.

Their specialty is foot-drums and related hardware for buskers. Maybe too limited of a market, so they are making 'standard' drumset basses, too ? The only item I have purchased from them was a nylon brush-beater for my own foot snare rig (not a Sidekick drum, nor a Sidekick foot-snare riser .. although their bracket-riser looks pretty neat)

I think I'm going to pass unless I did a custom setup which is more than I'd want to pay. I just think a 12" kick is way to shallow for the tone I would want. If I do an 18" I'd want at least a 14" if not 16" depth.

What do you guys think about the 12" depth?
