    Default vintage double pedal

visited Atlanta Pro Percussion this afternoon and came across this double pedal. This is probably one of the first doubles (from this brand) that were made when the invention started. Never heard of Zalmer. The construction is pretty primitive. Anybody remember these or used one?

Don't recall ever seeing one like that.

When double-pedals first arrived on the market, I thought all of them were bad.
Until recently, I much preferred two bass drums with two single pedals.

Over the years, the technology has greatly improved and the bass drum batter heads have become better too.

I do remember seeing one of those a long time ago.
Very cool. Like the flex cable.
I was only beginning to learn how to play back then when I saw one.
The local music store had one set up on a Fibes or Zickos kit.

Very cool. I noticed the bar on the bottom connecting the 2 pedals. Probably because the cable was too flexible.

Wow, I've been playing for a hundred years and I've never heard of that pedal. Pretty rad looking!
