You all did a GREAT job! And the video is very well done and creative. I am totally envious of people who can use their hands to build things like what your family accomplished.
Hi, we decided the room in the house was too cramped and we needed to do something .
We thought we would convert a shed we have,
This is what happened

Nice job Girl!!!
Your family rocks!
Awesome Job!
great job
Bridie, there isn't anything you could do that would surprise me.
Your music room looks very well thought out and built.
I've nailed 2 things together and that was it.
Bridie,
GREAT job on your drum room! That is so much better than having drums in your house...you are removed from the rest of the family, so far less hassles for everyone! How far is the shed from the main house? In your back yard, I gather? How is the sound insulation, both from your family's house and from neighbors? Just curious how this worked from those perspectives. You could really put together a fantastic recording studio with this setup. How big is the overall structure? How many 'rooms' and how big is each?
Really, really great job! Hope you get to use this for a long time to come!

Hi,
The room is about 35 feet from our house and we can't be heard. If you stand outside you can hear me drum or the whole band( we can fit 4 in comfy.)
But it's not very loud, my mum got a decibel app and kept getting me to test my snare as we put the layers in.
We have 2 rooms, the booth that's 6 foot square I will do keys and guitar in there and if I ever get a Mac book, record in there.
The main bit is 15 feet X 10.
The man put led lights in so they won't vibrate and blow ( cool)
And mum built a storage area on top of the booth and hallway so we can store cases and other stuff out the way
And the best part is my mum can stand in the kitchen and wave to me when teas ready😁😁😁👍🏻

Thanks for the info! Sounds like it's really an ideal little place for you and your band. It would be great if you could do some videos of you all playing in your 'home away from home'!

I agree way cool. One thing I did in my little studio for recording is I built my own bass traps/diffusers and that really tighten up the acoustics of my little room. Lot's of youtube videos on building your own recording studio really helped me get things figured out.
Nice, too bad there isn't room for a bed, fridge and bathroom.
Come to think of it, why not have the fams move into the shed and take the whole house for the music room?
Very nice room / area. The video was also put together nicely, thanks for sharing it.
