    Default New Hi Hats!

Just got a pair of A Custom 14" hi hats used from eBay. Great shape, just could use a little cleaning. They sound awesome, I can't wait until the next gig to combine them with my 20" A Custom ride, and 17" and 18" A Custom Projection crashes. I've been waiting a long time to have a complete set of A Customs, I love the line. I usually gig with just 2 crashes, a ride and hats, but now I might just have to bring the 15" A Custom crash and 12" A Custom splash to round it out!

Colaiuta had influence in the sound/build of the A Custom line.

Among other As and Ks, I own two A Custom crashes -- a 14 and a 17 and they are both excellent for my kit...............quick and bright.

Found a matching pair of 13" XS hi-hats I didn't even know they made... guy has them online I'm trying to negotiate with.

XS is a cheaper line, kind of like right above the B8 line

They are but amazing have you heard them in person? The medium series are amazingly good for a cheap line.

Nice pick up. I love getting new gear - especially new cymbals. Looks like you have a nice collection going.

Not a fan of the A Customs, just something rubs me the wrong way about them.

As for the XS line, pro level sounding cymbal period.

I own about 10 pairs of HH's (602's,new beats, K's,Sabian prototype,Signature) and the XS line is different, but not inferior sounding to any of the high end stuff.

I can't find anything bad to say about them.
