    Default Mallets?

OK, so I got hired as the Pit Insructor for a hgh school. I decided that I dont want to use a timpani due to phazing, but I was wondering if any of you know of a good yarn mallet that is good for xylophone in marching band. Id appreciate the help. Thanks

Vic Firth makes great timpani mallets, I was saying that their keyboard mallets arent the best. I talked to the Marshall U pit instructor and he reccomended some MIke Balters so Im guess Im goinna get them. Thanks though

    hmmmmm

    Promark
    Vic Firth
    Mike Balter
    Musser
    Encore

there are others but the are the first off the top of my head....
i'd probably go with Musser mallets for keyboard but they're kinda' hard to select. seriously, have you seen their website? its a figgin' maze!!

but for timpani mallets, i'd definately use Regal Tip the Saul Goodman mallets. they're absolutely the best mallets for timpani.
