Default Add a new Ride to my "Score!" list

So my instructor bought a used 20" Zildjian medium ride to try out, but it sounds almost identical to his current Zildjian Ping ride. He decided he doesn't need 2 nearly identical rides, so he is selling me the medium ride. He got an awesome deal on it ($85) and is just charging me what he paid for it. Score for me, now I will only have one sub-par cymbal left on my kit (ZBT Crash/Ride). I actually don't mind the ZBT as a secondary crash, but it sucked as a ride. The wife was cool with it as the kids needed an idea for what to get me for Christmas. I need to give it a good cleaning, but other than that it is good to go. Gotta love it when stuff falls into place for you!

    That is a great score................for $85, yes !

But even more so for a guy that has no quality ride with his kit.
One of the most essential components, IMO.

You will love it -- you will also never again go without a great ride cymbal.

That's an excellent deal. This is also a very versatile cymbal, at least usually. I've heard a few that didn't sound good but the majority of them have a pretty consistent sound that'd work in most music.

Yep, I got a chance to hear it earlier this week and it had a very nice sound to it. The bell was outstanding and the stick articulation was nice. Looking forward to bringing it home after the next lesson.

Hey congrats on the deal for the new ride. Sounds like just one more thing for which you can be thankful.
