    I thought it would be neat to share some of the weird cymbals out there.

    weird indeed.... I'd heard of people using saw blades but never seen whatever the heck they are before. Looks very interesting though.... THANKS!

    The second picture has ribbon cymbals in them, they are basically crash cymbals that are cut up in a circle kind of way so that they drop to the ground, they sound like a china cymbal except the sound takes a while to die down. The first pic has shield cymbals I think they are called, no idea what they sound like.

    The 2nd pic is of the zildjian spiral trash from the fx series.....nifty thing is they can be muted with your foot

    Well, I'm gonna get out my hacksaw and see what kind of cymbals I can make. Hell, maybe I'll just do it with my trusty torch.

    dont bother
    they sound like crap hahaha
    especially the malteese cross ones

    and they eat up sticks like no other
