I wonder (and hope that) too.
I wonder (and hope that) too.
I hope they keep it forever!
As always, it will be hard to please everyone. The forum change has more to do with being up to date and compatible with all browsers and mobile functionality then it has to do with design. That said, changes will continue to be made moving forward but we are on no timeline with aesthetics. We hope that you also appreciate the new improvements with regard to images, video, speed and mobile compatibility among other things. The are lots of improvements with this new, upgraded software!
makes me want to go golfing... but I can't because it's winter
14pc Yamaha Maple Custom Vintage (24pc in total) | 12pc PDP X7 | 9pc Ludwig Jr. | 9pc Pork Pie ZebraWood | 7pc PDP Concept Maple Classic | 5pc Sonor International | 5pc Ddrum Dominion | 5pc Orbitone | 4pc Sonor Martini | 65 Snare drums and growing!
I miss the "Shout Out" section . Miss saying hello and getting the bikini report and weather updates...
it's like anything else we have to get use to changes. So far I am adapting but would like see the shout box back.
Like I said to PMM, I need to know the real weather update from certain parts of the world. And def need to know about bikinis! LOL!
Drummer said it would be back. I agree with you. I miss it too but, just have to be patient. I'm sure they'll get the bugs worked out.![]()
I'm just happy we are all still here.
I like the new design personally, and I don't even golf!![]()

Everyone loves FREE... like this free drum forum. But like your car and even your drums, they require upkeep and maintenance and that requires money.

I know from working with Drum Bum through the years, that this forum is costly to run. It requires server fees, hosting, ongoing moderation, advertising, software upgrades, security certificates and IT work when it breaks. All in addition to the expenses that come from running a business. These costs are offset (hopefully) by members that click through to Drum Bum to make a purchase now and then, if not make a contribution to help keep it running.
On behalf of Drum Bum, thank you for your consideration.
And man, it's so much nicer on phone now!

I will not play a game that requires me to hit this little ball a couple of hundred feet (or in Zack's case, 30-35') only to have to walk after it so I can hit it again.
In pool, the furthest a ball can go is 9', and in bowling, you throw the ball and the machine throws it back. That falls under Einstein's Theory of Rebound and Return.
Man, is there a lot of empty spaces on this design! At least on an I-Pad there is....
What is this background?
And BIG TYPE, too on the desktop machine(it's like an AARP site!)
