    Default Cymbal placement

So I'm having a bit of a dilema deciding where to place my crash cymbals. I have 15, 16, and 18 inch crashes. Right now I have the 16 and 18 over the rack toms and the 15 over my floor tom. I'm thinking of putting the 15 and 16 over the rack toms and 18 over the floor tom, but at the same time in not really sure how I want to work it all.

How do you you guys with multiple crashes have yours set up?

I'm like Drummer small cymbals on left larger cymbals on the right. But I have twin 16"s on each side.

I forgot to update. I went with the 15, 16, 18 configuration. My ride sits under the 18 inch crash.

I usually only have two crashes, a ride and a splash.

If I add another crash, it'll usually be on my left and left of the hats. This way I have a crash on either side of my hats.

Plus, I tend to agree with drummers' cymbal placement habit, too.

Yes, I agree with the crash on both sides of the hats too. If I set up splashes, they sit right in the middle between the two crash cymbals.

Thank you. I also noticed we are both sporting shiny cymbals. Yours are Sabian and mine are Zildjian A Customs.
