Default What am I looking for ?

Ok hopefully that title will draw some traffic. I dont know what its called so here goes. This item mounts on the snare drum and is used for playing ballads that require a wood block kind of sound. I used to just play the stick across the rim but I saw this thing and it sounded great. It mounts to the snare as I said and you ly the stick across the snare and play it the same way you do the rim. I know this probably isn't a lot to go on but any help would be appreciated. I would just like to know what it's called and where I might find on. I have tried Sam Ash, GC, and local shops to no avail. I wanted to ask some of the sales people but being Christmas they are swamped I have to check them out on my lunch hour so not a lot of time to wait.
