Thanks Rich. I was mostly referring to the remote HH...in the traditional HH position (?). It's certainly an example of form over function. It's just not an efficient design from an engineering POV.
I guess it would be stylistically appropriate in a heavy metal context. Or maybe an occult devil worship band.

I'd need a lesson to learn how to set drums up with an Attack rack, cause from first impressions I just don't feel like it would be all that practical and easy to use. However, when I first saw Yamaha's rack design, I didn't think that would work well either, but now look at all the drummers using it. Personally I use a Pearl ICON, and I wouldn't buy this, but if I had a chance to use it and play around with set ups for awhile - yeah i'd check it out. I'd be curious as to how they expect you to set your kit up with it, it's interesting to an extent. It's just that i'd be too cynical to invest a lot of money into it and take that risk, you know?
