Congrats Zack, looks like a great score.
So it's not in the greatest of shapes as the lugs have some oxidations.
But the rims and wood are in great shape so I can down the road store the lugs with new ones.
But I COULDN'T pass up on this snare. It will pretty much complete me collection on my Yamaha Maple Custom kit
I now have: 12x3, 14x4", 14x5.5, 14x6.5
Congrats Zack, looks like a great score.
Nice!
congrats that's a nice snare. I am curious as to which one is your favorite? I know they all may be better for different genre's but if you could only keep one size which one would it be?

Well I haven't received this one yet so I can't say fully yet...
But I tell you, my 14x5.5 snare has always been my absolute favorite in my collection! (entire 44 snare collection)
It is so versatile and tunes great at every range! It's also one of the only snares on any drumset I've never thought of swapping out.
It's truly the reason I started looking for other matching snares in difference sizes because it's so perfect to/for me.
