I was testing some new mic placements. Everything recorded with 4 mics.

I'd leave those mic's right where they are, they picked up everything just right (in my personal opinion). Liked that stuff from :38 to :44.

That is a 16" zultan dune hi hat.
Zultan Raw 20" crash.
Sabian Sr2 21" thin.
Sonor 3007 maple, with mapex black panther (thomann edition) snare.

That's a Sonor 3007 maple set. Snare drum is Mapex black panther (thomann edition) 14 x 6,5 maple. Cymbals are mix of Sabian Sr2's and Zultan Dune/Raw series.Originally Posted by MDK

changed up the setup again I see. I will say I love the sound of that Sonor tom for sure. But I liked the 24" kick from the previous older video a hair better than this smaller one.
Great groove though man you hit the pocket for sure!

Lately i am addicted to Richard Spaven videos, and he uses 18'' kick... It makes you to play different, with 24'' you want to play louder and more "Bonhamy" (new word)
