    Below is an exceptional video you need to see.
    This is a clip of Mike Portnoy doing three songs from the first two albums by OSI (which, BTW, are exceptional as well -- the first song is the intro to the first album).
    All of us know Portnoy as the former drummer of Dream Theater.....................their concerts and videos always show MP sitting behind a massive kit.
    This video reflects MP behind a four-piece kit but making it sound big -- he says it is the same kit used in making the second OSI recording.

    I love the part where he says you know that pro drummers with huge kits have two advantages:
    1) They have a drum tech to set all that stuff up;
    2) They don't have to pay for all that gear.

    Just goes to show he can still play a small kit regardless of what a lot of people say.
    I absolutely love Mike Portnoy. My biggest influence for sure.
