I have officially finished the snare drum
I'm actually leaving for Mexico tonight
When I get back I'm going to make a video of my process.
Snare turned out AWESOME and plays as good as it looks

So, you just drop that bomb on us, then leave? Not even a quick picture?

You could try out the S Hoop and see how you like it. My snare has triple flanged hoops and I didn't want to drop a lot of die cast hoops,so I picked up the S Hoop for the batter side and it sounds Pretty good. Took out some of the overtones as well.
Was worth the $18 investment to me.

There was a guy here that built a beautiful set about 5-6 years ago. Superprohero if I remember right. He put a lot of work into building them. He was offered money to build a set for somebody and he said "never again". I guess that the picture(s) he put up are up there somewhere but I'm damned if I remember when and where.

He did a superb job building them. They are beautiful.

Thanks for finding them. I had no idea where to look.
