Invited out by the owner. This was a Thursday evening (last night) event. We played 6-9...was home before 10:30. Made some decent coin for only a 3 hour gig.
A view from out in the parking lot before all the bikes showed up.

Nice, Love playing biker bars. Amazing how most of them look the same. That could easily be a local biker bar called Iron Tails saloon here in Maine.
Ludwig Classic Maple 22x16,10x8,12x9,16x16

Sabian HHX Legacy
Decide whether this is love for the craft or simply an ego thing

Looks like a cool venue.
It's the top half of a boom stand. The post that normally would go into a tripod base pole is clamped to my rack. The boom is adjustable forward and backward as well as up and down. Reason other than convenience is that it will accommodate any bass drum size I choose from the 18" you see all the way up to a 22" without adjusting the rack cross bar. Same is true of the overhead mic. They are clamped to the rack.

And for some of them, it's probably a good thing. Also, keep in mind it was only in the 70's and riding a bike up here this early, it gets a bit chilly when the sun goes down and temps can end up back into the 50's.
The gig ended at 9 PM and it was dark by then and a chill was in the air.
