Default Single or Double Bass Pedal?

    Hello,

I'm a beginner with an electronic drum kit.
I will eventually use the double but wonder if having a single has any advantages over having double but using as a single? Other than price.

    Thanks,
    Burhan

If eventually you want a double I'd say just get the double now.
And if you only setup the single version to keep your mind on track to using that vs goofing with the double than do so.

It is nice though to own both if you were playing out eventually and sometimes you just don't need the double.

I never used a double and never will. I am too much into and self learned classic rock music. Which double pedals where not that popular back in my era 60-70's the odd famous drummer used them.

I had a single for a couple of years and then got a double. I don’t think the way I play would have changed if I got the double first. I’d get the double

I bought a single pedal first and then a double pedal. I could have saved a bunch of money I I had just started with the double
