I'm the OP and quit the band yesterday. I offered to help find a replacement, but the band is breaking up.

Thanks for all the great advice...

So....................now you take the best players from the band and assemble a new and better version.

Sorry to hear it came to that.
Ricardo is right, there will be new opportunities for even greater things...just keep the faith.
Kinda sounds like the others were tired of the situation as well (?)

Turn the page. One door closes another opens. All good things must come to an end. Things happen for a reason. Opportunity rises from failure. If you haven't failed, you haven't tried.

    Sorry, I'm out of cliches.

I'm actually relieved now, having quit this band. Now I can concentrate on my other 2 bands, both of which are drama-free.

"both of which are drama-free." So far, so good. How many times have I heard that.

One way you could get some revenge is to claim that everyone is out of meter especially her.. Then force the band to practice to click tracks. Kind of demented I know.. But hey we all could use a little polishing.
I had a lot of time to think it over lying in this hospital bed...

The only reason to put up with any bad band situation is if you are still having fun. Even if it's the best band you've played in, if you're not having fun, what is the point? Unless you're in it for the money. Do it for a living. Sounds like you do still enjoy it even with her comments.
