Not that the 49's went through 20 years of torment, but that movie clip brought back "The Catch" to my mind. I went over to you tube and watched it (again) and, in reality, it looks like Montana was actually trying to throw the ball away. There was no way that he saw Clark with those linemen in his face. It was a 20+ yard "Hail Mary". Joe was only 6'2", short by the standards of today where they want QB's to be 6'15".
I'm a diehard Cowboy fan, but if I had to pick 1 QB for a "must win" game, I would take Montana, 2nd would be Staubach.
