Just a 3pc with hats and a ride. That’s all that was needed. I love watching old videos of famous bands from the 60’s & ‘70’s. The majority of them used small and/or simple kits too.

"Too many crappy used drum stuff to list"

    Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!

"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham

He said in a vid I watched of him that he didn't like using the bass drum too much, his least favorite drum.

Saw a couple of his interviews from a couple of years ago on YouTube about playing with Elvis and DJ said he didn't like the bass drum to much and didn't really play it. Loved the toms and cymbals.
