Besides the music you are known for playing, what other styles of music do you like to jam out to?

Me? In my parts I'm known as a blues and Contemporary Christian drummer, but I love to get down to some southern rock, 90's grunge rock, classic rock, and some older country.

I've been completely hooked on gospel chops style drumming.
I've found gospel chops to be quite boring to watch on youtube now..
but I love playing along to the high energy, spirited drum wailing music.

Anything really. Gimme a kit and a song to play, and if i'm able to play it, i'll play it. If I can't, i'll try to learn it hahaha. I suppose guilty pleasures(for me) would be something like No Doubt, Kiss, Talking Heads, GWAR, or something. It's really random and hard to pinpoint what the most bizarre thing i've played would be haha.

How about some links to the kind of videos you are talking about, Spaz? I'm not familiar with any of the styles you mentioned.

Having played in a jazz band in college and numerous jams in NYC, mainly in Harlem, I have always considered myself a jazz drummer that played R&R.

Blues, but, can only take so much of it. Gets a bit tedious after a bit. I had fun subbing for my brother's funk band's drummer recently.
