Awesome!!!
Just sort of almost maybe got my Gretsch kit, rack and cymbals together - it has only taken since May (of this year). I'm practicing regularly now, but still haven't got a sound system connected yet. I've got the amp (Marantz) and some Altec Lantzing speakers I've had forever laying around.
Just thought it would be fun to post my drums with a kind of Christmasy look to them.
The one of me was taken today - I'm hamming it up a little having fun thinking maybe I'm Gene Krupa (I wish).
I was going to delete the one taken without lights but thought it adds something different.
Hope you don't mind..........
Cheers,
Here they are.

SWEET!!!!
Nice set up!
Nice kit! Do you like to gig with a rack? I have sometimes thought about giging with a rack but it seem like more trouble to move and store than my conventional kit. I was just wondering what are your thoughts on the subject?
For sure! If I was going to move this kit about I would go with a few stands and some grabber-type arms to help place cymbals. This kit however, is going nowhere. It's for me to play in my retirement all by my lonesome in the "drum room." If I get to the stage where I want to play in a band again, like I did in the 60's and early 70's - one of them here: http://pnwbands.com/behyndman.html, (that's me at 20 years old second from right), I would pair the kit down conciderably OR have a "roadie" to do it - at great expense probably.

Oriental gong (effects - small, but nice sound especially with a microphone connection).
And yesterday my Gibraltar Wooden Snare Hoops and cymbal stacker arrived at my local retailer.
The kit's coming together. Just got my Axis Longboard pedals to come in and a few bits and pieces and I'll be set.

Very nice man, I love the red jingle bell wreath. Do you actually play it?
Thats the way, uh huh, uh huh, I like it.
Nice... we have a bell wreath on our front door right now, perhaps in the "off season" I'll convert it to drumset add on!

I'm very jealous of this set, dude. Not bad at all, and the Christmas stuff looks rad lol
