Awesome Zack! I'm also a fan of the XS's. . . . .very cool!DSC01528.jpg
My uncle was going to buy a pair of hi-hats from me and so I sold him one of my several pairs of XS ones.
So I then took that money and bought another paid of XS's but tried out the X-celerators.
Here's a small video comparison I put together yesterday of the two.
I like the bright sound of the X-celerators but the difference is pretty minor.

Honestly they don't get the credit they deserve. They are a killer cymbals at an even killer price!
Nice demo Zack. I have played with Zildjian cymbals for most of my life, but if I had to make a choice of the 2, I would go with the XS.

I liked the standards, seemed to have more of a 'balance' to them. Not too bright, but nice cut and wash, without being too saturated with overtones. Being not as bright as the x-celerator, I feel like they'd go with more songs.
