    Thanks. I just put that head on, then adjusted the snares (tightened them a bit more). I didn't crank near as much as I usually do when I tightened the head, either. I do love the sound of it now. It's exactly what I was looking for when I purchased this snare.

    FWIW, those are my new cymbals as well, for anyone who has been keeping up with that.

    My wife surprised me with one of these same snare drums and it sounds really good with a Coated Ambassador and sone Puresound wires. Good buy.

    Mine has 30 strand Puresound snares on it. I'm loving the sound from it.
