Anyone else have any Christmas related gigs? We have a 2 hour show on December 8th that will be under a pavilion over the top of a lake. Its outdoors and I know its gonna be cold. In summer we use fans, I'm taking a dang buddy heater with me for this one to sit in a chair near my drum throne lol

OOOOH! That's one that I may have turned down. I hate cold weather, and Arkansas winters are COLD!!!!!

But, the Beatles played on a rooftop in the winter. So, if they did it . . . .

I think we have a tentative gig set up for 12/22. I need to confirm it, however. My brothers and I are currently dealing with some heavy and stressful legal issues involving some real estate we inherited. It’s gonna be a looooong winter, and the gigging will probably be put on the back burner for awhile. I’m hoping Santa brings me a big bag of ca$h for X-mas. Better yet, a whole truckload....or a winning lottery ticket.

I wish you luck. Our guitarist is going through something similar. He owned several studios in Nashville, and sold them. Now the guy isnt paying, so attornies are involved. It's been hell for him thus far.

They were probably stoned and thought they were in the Bahamas.

Never on Christmas. New years we took only when it was a ridiculous to turn the $$$$$$ down.

We have a big club gig on Friday the 21st.
It's not actually Christmas related but we intend to request (since our lead vocalist has long white hair and beard) Santa to sit in.
    Gretsch USA & Zildjian

We’ll be playing this Saturday night at our local bar. It’s gonna be their official Christmas party for the public...free food, contests, etc..
It’s only 6 blocks away from home, it’s supposed to be sunny and 50*F, and we’re playing from 7pm to 11pm. Should be a fun, low stress gig.

From my hometown - Cheap Trick and Ginger Lynn.

The Cheap Trick guys went to my high school, Ginger another school. Did I win or lose on that?

Miss Ginger Lynn Allen. If I had to guess, I'd say you lost.

Saw her about 30 years ago at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. Blonde hair, blue/green eyes, and very pretty.

I think she beats out Cheap Trick.
