I saw Dream Theater do the entire Metropolis, Scenes From a Memory album. Unbelievable. Hired Actors and a full Choir... beautiful concert

Iron Maiden on the Ed Hunter tour (When Bruce reunited with the band). They polled the fans to find out the 20 favorite songs ever, and then made that the setlist for the tour. Bruce's voice was spot on and Nicko was incredible. I was 10 rows back center stage.

Janis Joplin 1967, if I had shipped out when I was supposed to, I would have missed seeing her.
Buddy,--- too many times to list.
Laura Branigan, ----too many times to list
Fleetwood Mac,--- 1st time was at MSG around the time Rumours came out. If I remember right, Frampton played a couple of songs with them. 1977??
Black Sabbath--- Don't remember the 1st time except that girls were throwing various pieces of underwear at Tony Iommi.
The Bangles--- Somewhere in the '80's, when they were 1st coming up. Small venue, front row seats. I remember telling a friend of mine that if their skirts were any shorter, that the mystery that is women would be gone forever.
The Stones--- 1st time was at MSG a long time ago.
Heart---again don't remember the 1st time, probably their 1st "tour" after Dreamboat Annie came out.
Too many to list. Management got us tickets to almost anyone we wanted to see, so I've seen most of the "major stars" at 1 time or another.
Almost left out Asia.

The most memorable was in ‘89. Some people I know held a private Halloween party in an old abandoned hotel they owned. They hired Head East to play for about 150 people. It was like a Batchelor party on steroids...crazy.

Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham
Black Flag with Henry Rollins, early/mid 80's, in a small club. What a wild and crazy show. The whole place was jumping around and bouncing off the walls. I watched Rollins pop a fan in the face with the base of his mic stand and the guy just kept coming back for more like he was enjoying it ...

Very bad night for UH as their guitar player had broken his arm and BOC had a stage show that Kiss at their pinnacle would have a hard time equaling.
Steps Ahead at Zellerbach Auditorium after the release of their first album.
There were about 10 people in a venue that sat about a thousand.
I was about 12 ft from the stage.

BUDDY RICH--Some club in NYC with a quartet. Definitely not his forte. Big bands is where he belonged.
JOE MORELLO---In and around clubs on the NYC area.
LOUIE BELSON--- Big band, small group, backing Pearl Bailey. I saw Louie in a variety of settings.
MAX ROACH--- Various clubs in the city.
I've seen numerous R&R bands over too many years. If I went to see a band, it was because I liked the band, not because I wanted to see the drummer, whoever it might have been.

Ok ... most memorable drummer ...
Mike Clark, Paul Jackson, and the Head Hunters, small private business event in 20 x 40 room up close and personal.
Sat on sofa in front row about 10' away from Mike and watched in amazement. Hung out with both during break and after show. To my surprise, Paul took a liking to my then 6 year old son, giving him an autographed CD which we still have (son is 19 now) and invited him to come stay over at his place if he was ever in Japan lol ...
