    Default Looking for some hardware

I've bought a used Pearl drums, and now I need to get some hardware. I need a hi-hat stand, 2 cymbal boom stands, one cymbal straight stand, kick pedal, snare stand and 1 tom stand. I would like to buy a pack with most of the stuff (and maybe add what is missing) to get the most out of my money. I was thinking about something from Thomann. What would you recommend? Budget 400, max 500 unless within this price range there is nothing decent.

Love the Tama stuff, especially Road Pro.
For a good value, the upper lines at PDP are good.

I have Yamaha seems like a 700, not bad, but thought I could find better?

There are Gibraltar sets available, 5700, 6700 and 8700. I have a couple of boom stands, what I do not like is that if you grab where the boom meets the rest of the stand, the rest of the stand sometimes falls.

Tama road pro I could get them and they are at the limit of my budget.

What do you think of the mapex mars set?

I have a Mapex Saturn V and I'm pretty set on cymbals and snares (for now)...now it's time to upgrade some of my stands.
I have a Mapex Saturn double tom holder, but I'm still looking for a tripod I can put it in that fits properly. The one I jerry rigged it in is a little too wide. I'm looking for one that's about 1" wide since the tom holder bar is 1".

I could be wrong, but I don't think DW outright "owns" Gibralter. They own the rights to distribute, or handle Gibralter along with other co.s that used to be distributed by the Kamen Music Corp. subsidiary of Fender Musical Instruments.

    I'm betting you are correct.
Kaman had the Gretsch rights before DW..............and Gretsch used Gibraltar as the hardware supplier.............LP was also in the package.
DW distributes all three of those now, I believe.

My source from "Drum" Magazine dated January 6, 2016 written by Radim McCue states the contrary. It's Sabian they have the rights for distribution but not ownership.

    Quote-

"Drum Workshop, Inc. and Fender Musical Instruments announced today that they have agreed to a sale of the brands Gretsch, Gibraltar, Kat, Latin Percussion, Toca, and others, including Ovation Guitars, from Fender to Drum Workshop. Distribution of Sabian Cymbals in the United States, which previously was handled by Kaman Music Corporation, is also part of the transaction. In a separate statement, Kaman Music announced that it will continue its distribution business. Kaman is one of the largest distributors with 200 brands and more than 20,000 products on hand".
