need help fast

Well my drum lessons are usually every Friday ,Ive got 3 good months under my belt .
Today I received a call that my instructor was in an auto accident and its pretty bad.All instructions will be canceled for several weeks if not permanently


I am not going out looking for another instructor just yet ..So this is where I need this forums help.

I dont want to sound selfish but I am in need of some one to tell me what materials I should be purchasing or going over so I can move on untill we know what is going to happen .

I thought Bongo Bob had mentioned a book with a cd or something ..

anyways any suggestions would be great.

he gave me a cd without drum tracks ,he would write in the drum tracks useing what we have gone over ..different beats ,eighth ,quarters,sixteenth ,mixing in paradiddles..

Its hard to put a place mark on where I am at

Wow! sorry to hear that. I hope and pray that I never have to deal with the thought of giving up a passion becasue I was forced too due to the physical inability to play again. That is terrifying to think about. I am sorry to read about your drum teacher.
