I'd agree the picture quality is outstanding. Sorry about the other one.
But, Kinda hope mine gets dropped. hheheheheeeee
It's been a good camera so I shouldn't say that.
New Zoom Q8
I dwopped my Zoom Q8 and bwoke it. I think I was channeling myself at 2 1/2 years old or AOCDEFG.
Seriously, (did I actually say seriously) if you drop 1, even a short distance,(mine fell about 18") on a hardwood floor, kiss that sucker goodbye.
I bought the new version of the Q8 and recorded this on it. I think the clarity of the picture is better and it seems to pick up the sound of all the drums better.
When in doubt, stay there. It's easier.

Are you using the zoom’s mics? Or using the mics on the kit and feeding into the zoom? Great playing

New camera looks good Rick. The image is sharper and the camera mics may have improved on this model huh?

The 3rd floor tom I use as a table, then if I get the bug, I'll play with 9 toms, including my "table".

Awsome just the post i was looking for,if that q8 picks up sound like that all by its lonesome and picture quality is awsome by the way,im going to buy one now,,i have been using a Samsung 200 dollar tablet,well on a budget but now the cash flow is rock solid,,why not....
