    Default Snare Drum Mute

I am about to buy a quality 12" snare drum mute. Which of the two makes (below) have you experienced that you liked the most?
    a) Evans SoundOff 12" Snare Drum Mute
    b) Vic Firth 12" Snare Drum Mute.

    Many thanks.

I have Evans SoundOff for all my Toms and my snare and they work great. The sound was lowered a lot and they still sound almost the same. The only minor problem is that they give off a rubbery smell, but I got used to it.
