    Cool Re: Drum Chat Language

I Could Get Banned For Startin Stuff...Dang...
To All...This Is A Fine Example We "Elders" Must Consider ...What Impressions We Leave Wif Others
    On This Forum....
    Prime Examples:

(and I O U Drumchatters For Da Honor
    And Da "Phun"...)

    1. My Use Of "Ph" Is Spreading Thru Dis Thread Like Crazy...

    2. My "Nawlins " Slang Is A Catchy Lil Ditty Aint It?

    3. Beleive It Or Not,it Was Not My Idea To Start
"Phrogge's Aquarian Army", But Again, I Am Humbled
That Its Membership Has Taken Quite A Few "Leaps" Lately

    4. I Am Indeed Humbled By All Da Comments Of Yer Thots Of Me;
I Am Honered To Be Anthing More Than My "SIR PHROGGELINESS"

    5. That My Advice Is Even Asked For Means A Great Deal To Me...

    6. After All Da Challenges In A Life That Is Far From Over,
That I Have "Earned" Da Respect Of Any Member Of Drumchat Is Soul Satisfying,,,,

    7.And Lastly.....A Truism...

I Ask Each And Everyone Of My Brothers And Sisters Here
To Remain Inspired By Any Means Possible....
Think For A Moment As I Do:(God Dats Scary Aint It?)

It Is To Each Of Us Our Duty In This Rhythmic World...
We Must Inspire Those Who Come Behind Us To Inspire
    Thst Generation Behind Them.......
And "etc, etc, etc," As Yul Brenner Said In "The King And I"
    Please Each And Everyone.....PLEASE,,,,
"Dont Forget Da Groove" As You "PLAY IT FORWARD"

I Thank You For Yer Kind Attention.....

I lost my inspiration for a while. I think I spent a total of 12 days home during the entire month of July. two business trips back to back and a family vacation had me MIA. My brain was toast.

I played 2 masses yesterday morning for our church, one at 9 and the noon. I was so rusty, but I felt the groove, or perhaps the groove felt me. The cantor at the noon mass was a fill in who asked me to come play at her regular church for their "contemporary" mass at 6:30pm.

I have been noticing again...new members always talking in "txt language".

I won't name any names, but to those people I am talking about...you're typing on a regular keyboard, not a phone. It doesn't take that much effort to type cohesive words. It's just hard to take people seriously when they say things like "hey guyz i want 2 no wat da bestest cymbals r so can u plz help me thnx."

Yeah, a "lol" every once in awhile doesn't matter. But some people just take it way farther than they have to.

You know, Jrt - my speech got so much cleaner since I've been on DC. It's cool now so I can chat to a person of any age without offending anyone. And spelling - nah we don't care about that on here. As long as you can get your point across we're not worried
