great gear for a first kit. it should serve you well for the next few years. looks like the setup could use a little tweaking for comfort and practicallity, but you will figure out what is best for you in the next ten thousand enjoyable hours behind your new kit. congrats.

Lol well I have played percussion for... going on 5 years now. I've already moved stuff around and fine tuned some drums. Working on Sympathetic Snare noise stuff.

Also my dad likes to mess around with the drum set lol.

I've moved everything around already some. Like I shifted the snare and hi-hat and lower tom a bit left, they were off center... I've moved cymbals around just a little, and messed with angles. It's working for me now though. The Splash may move in the future too, but I'll have a China and 2 More splashs at that point o_O lol...

    It's a classic.

I already have lol, and once these finals are gone it's gonna get crazy. My dad's already had some fun on it himself xD. It's pretty nice, still adjusting some of the cymbals and the snare(Sympathetic Snare... already got it mostly gone). We're going to Guitar Center tomorrow after school. We're going to be looking at:

    Cowbell
    Cowbell Bass Stand Thing
    China
Another Boom/Straght stand for said China
Tambourine that goes on the top of the Hi-Hat stand.
    Felts for the cymbals
And maybe some more sticks....(I like Drum Sticks =o)
And maybe another drum key...(Don't want to lose one and not have another lol)

Everything seems a little to angled for my tastes, but congrats on the new kit.

Yeah I like them a little angled, but just straight enough. I made them a bit less angled though. I like some angle though, it fits the way I hit them I guess. Just flat straight level cymbals kinda bother me...

Thanks. It is nice. I'm hoping that this will keep me going for a few years, and I probably won't get rid of it. I'll probably just add on to it. When I add those exspensive Zildjian cymbals on later I'll probably just tuck the sabians away in my closet instead of selling them or something like that.
