My first time! lol It was all about measuring 10 times and drilling once. The shell is Worldmax and the hoops are pure polished brass and all the hardware I ordered separately. It sounds great!DSC02217.jpgDSC02211.jpgDSC02179.jpg

Really cool project! It looks perfect. Job well done.
Beautiful!
Nothing better than playing a drum that you built yourself!

"Too many crappy used drum stuff to list"
Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham
That is a beautiful drum. Congratulations!

"We don't stop playing because we grow old.
We grow old because we stop playing."
"I wish that my playing reminded people of Steve Gadd. But they seem to confuse me with his little known cousin... E."
"Snare drums happen."
That thing is really purdy!
Thank you Tom and Mike! Oh, and of course Brian! lol.

oh man!! That turned out killer! Wish I could get my arse in gear and finish some of my snare build projects lol
Love the hoop and claw choice
Awesome snare!! But, how do you avoid mangling sticks when you hit rim shots on those claw hooks and lug nuts that are higher than the rims? The look is fantastic!!
